Key Responsibilities
Provides treatments to patients to improve or restore function.
Participates in interdisciplinary approach for community education and clinical education.
Evaluates patients and establishes individualized goals based on symptoms and medical status.
Administers therapeutic techniques and physical agents to attain established goals.
Educates patients and families in home exercise programs and functional activities.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
