Job Description
The Vice President of the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center at ASPCA will lead a dedicated team focused on rehabilitating at-risk dogs and enhancing animal welfare. This role demands strong leadership, team management, and the ability to foster a collaborative culture while overseeing operations and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Manage operations of the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center
Evaluate the efficacy of BRC protocols
Supervise and manage senior directors and administrative staff
Lead team culture and staff development
Collaborate with other ASPCA teams and maintain professional partnerships
Required Qualifications
BS, BA or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a large team
Experience managing a budget
Excellent communication skills
Ability to effectively design and lead meetings
Preferred Qualifications
5 years experience managing a substantial, complex budget
Experience working as a leader in an animal shelter
Meeting facilitation skills
Project management experience
CAWA designation
