Job Description

Join Quill, part of the Staples family, as a Business Development Representative focusing on driving significant revenue growth in the Philadelphia region. This remote position allows you to leverage your sales skills to engage with customers, build strategies, and make a positive impact on the culture and success of your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion of 1M new revenue from new customers
  • Build territory penetration strategy and analyze performance
  • Qualify prospects and route opportunities to sales team members
  • Schedule appointments and present Quill values to potential customers
  • Attend conferences and events to represent Quill and win new customers
  • Create and present custom pricing solutions
  • Ensure smooth transition to the account management team
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Drive revenue beyond traditional office supplies

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 4+ years of field sales experience
  • Required travel within territory based on appointments, customer needs and conferences, approximately 50% travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months+ of relevant experience in the public sector market
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven business development experience
