Join ProHealth Physicians as a Medical Receptionist and play a vital role in enhancing community health. In this full-time position, you will manage patient interactions, schedule appointments, and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process while working in a supportive environment focused on exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct check-in and check-out process
Answer incoming calls and use EHR to document details of patient inquiries
Conduct outreach to patients requiring appointments or service follow-up
Schedule appointments using standard scheduling protocols
Manage administrative in-basket pools and work queues
Scan documents into the EHR per standard protocols
Balance payments and prepare deposits
Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations on an ad hoc basis
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of receptionist or customer service experience
Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting
Experience working with Epic
