Key Responsibilities
Supervise and educate residents and Nurse Practitioners
Perform medical services and supervise treatment
Serve as primary critical care provider for patients
Provide postoperative critical care
Participate in clinical and/or laboratory research
Engage in quality improvement activities
Collaborate with perioperative care departments
Attend departmental and medical staff committee meetings
Develop and implement ICU policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizen
Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree
Current, full, and unrestricted medical license
Completed residency in accredited core specialty
Completed or in process of completing Surgical Intensivist Fellowship
Board Certified or Board Eligible
