Job Description
Join Barnabas Health Medical Group as a Patient Services Representative and be the vital link in ensuring patient satisfaction and efficient operations. You will manage patient appointments, assist with clerical tasks, and contribute to a positive patient experience in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform patient check-in and check-out functions
Answer routine questions in person and over the phone
Perform basic clerical functions such as copying, scanning, faxing, sorting, and distributing mail
Create and maintain health record information
Coordinate with insurance providers for pre-authorizations and certifications
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Relevant experience or training
Clear understanding of patient satisfaction and safety
Strong oral and written communication skills
Attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Ability to work independently and in a team
Travel may be required
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or Bachelor's degree
Previous medical receptionist experience
Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems
Bilingual in Spanish and English
