Job Description
Trufood Manufacturing is seeking an energetic Production Supervisor to lead production teams on the 2nd shift. The role emphasizes employee engagement and continuous improvement to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain work procedures and employee safety programs
Foster a collaborative working environment
Collaborate with Quality and Sanitation departments on good manufacturing practices
Daily production line management
Work with Production Manager to solve manufacturing issues
Coaching, mentoring and training of production leads and employees
Manage resources including people, equipment and materials
Understand production line standards and processes
Manage work in process inventory through employee practices and ERP system
Drive continuous improvement, efficiencies and LEAN processes
Required Qualifications
4 year degree in engineering, operations, supply chain or business administration or equivalent experience
3 - 5 years experience in a manufacturing facility
3 - 5 years experience in a supervisory or management position
Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Proficient in MS Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
