Key Responsibilities
Administer medications and chemotherapy under the supervision of an oncologist
Assist with diagnostics, including lab work, imaging, and CT scans
Support oncology appointments and help manage patient flow and scheduling
Maintain accurate medical records, treatment notes, and drug logs
Provide empathetic client communication and education
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Radiology
Deliver emotional support and patient-centered care during every step of treatment
Required Qualifications
Licensed or credentialed veterinary technician
Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) or experienced veterinary assistant
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in specialty medicine and/or oncology
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow)
