Job Description
Join The Toro Company as an Operations Assistant and play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center. You'll support logistics and administrative functions, manage order processing, and maintain documentation for domestic and international shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inquiries regarding order status
Support daily processing and flow of customer orders
Prepare and process domestic shipments
Manage international orders and documentation
Assist with plant and vendor receiving processes
Perform inventory management tasks
Execute special projects assigned by management
Required Qualifications
High school diploma required
Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or administrative support
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
College coursework or degree
Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
Knowledge of hazardous shipping regulations
Ability to learn and utilize systems such as UPS WorldShip, SAP, OTM, and CMS
