Key Responsibilities
Greets visitors and patients, providing excellent customer service
Enters and updates patient demographic and financial information
Obtains necessary applications and forms, confirming signatures
Collects patient liabilities and balances the cash box daily
Works with various departments to complete patient encounters
Coordinates patient admissions and bed assignments
Maintains compliance with safety policies and procedures
Performs other duties as requested
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
6+ months of customer service experience in a healthcare setting
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to work an average of 32 hours per week between 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday
Full Flu vaccination
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of medical terminology
Working knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and patient care settings
