Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Greets visitors and patients, providing excellent customer service
  • Enters and updates patient demographic and financial information
  • Obtains necessary applications and forms, confirming signatures
  • Collects patient liabilities and balances the cash box daily
  • Works with various departments to complete patient encounters
  • Coordinates patient admissions and bed assignments
  • Maintains compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as requested

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 6+ months of customer service experience in a healthcare setting
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work an average of 32 hours per week between 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday
  • Full Flu vaccination

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Working knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and patient care settings
