Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Licensed Social Worker, providing vital mental health services to individuals and families. This role focuses on delivering trauma-informed care in a supportive outpatient setting, helping clients improve their well-being and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychosocial assessments
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and family members
Provide individual, group, family, and crisis interventions
Liaise with families, schools, and community agencies
Participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and supervision
Maintain documentation according to established standards
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work
New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT), or social work (LMSW)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience treating children or adolescents
Fluency in a second language
