Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of technical procedures with independent judgment
Conduct general diagnostic and routine fluoroscopic duties
Produce radiographs and manage patient positioning and transfers
Select and operate imaging equipment
Develop film by automatic processing and utilize PACS system
Maintain records and ensure department cleanliness
Assist in training students and ancillary personnel
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years of continuous recent experience as a radiologic technologist II
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification
Certification/Competency in at least one specialized area (Mammography, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiography, PACS)
Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California Department of Health Services
Valid certificate as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California Department of Public Health
Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification or equivalent education approved by the state of California
