Key Responsibilities
Provide front and back-office support
Answer phone calls from multiple queues
Deliver excellent customer service
Review and process prior authorization requests
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
Intake and update demographic information for patients
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
Submit specialists referrals with appropriate clinical information
Resolve customer service inquiries
Relay messages from patients and providers
Handle incoming HMO and FFS referrals
Prepare exam rooms for patients
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
3+ years of customer service experience
1+ years of medical front office or surgery scheduling experience
1+ years of basic computer software experience
1+ years experience as an MA-R or an MA-C
Preferred Qualifications
Surgery scheduling experience
EPIC experience
Prior authorization experience
