Job Description
Join Healthcare Services Group as an Environmental Services Department Manager, leading teams in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care within a long-term care facility. This role is critical in ensuring compliance and enhancing customer and resident experiences, alongside a supportive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff
Perform and lead teams in housekeeping and laundry aide duties
Lead staff training and quality control sessions
Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment
Act as a liaison between building occupants and HCSG staff
Ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and adherence to safety precautions
Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions
Perform all other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred
Maintain a positive attitude
Effective communication skills
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks
Ability to work around food and cleaning products
Able to follow oral and written instructions
Residency within the service area required
