Job Description

Join Aveanna Healthcare as a Speech Language Pathologist and provide essential therapy services to patients in Brevard County. You will deliver quality care based on physician orders, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and contribute to patients' health and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Speech Therapy services as prescribed by the physician
  • Follow policies and procedures conforming to patient care standards
  • Provide written evaluations defining Speech Therapy needs, goals, and expected outcomes
  • Maintain the plan of care for assigned patients according to Speech Therapy goals
  • Coordinate services with health care team members
  • Maintain patient and company confidentiality
  • Serve as a resource consultant for clinical staff

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited college/university
  • Current and unrestricted SLP license to practice in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • One (1) year of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in an acute care setting
