We seek a Per Diem Pharmacy Technicianto support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours: Monday Friday 8:30am 5pm (Lunch from 12:30pm 1pm)

Schedule: This is a per diem role, will be working on an as needed basis only to cover vacations, PTOs and callouts at Crestview, Panama City and Fort Walton sites

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provideexceptional customer servicetoall consumersandmembersofthe clinic staff
  • Fillsprescriptionordersandmakesthemavailablefor verificationunderdirect supervisionoftheregisteredpharmacist
  • Orders,receives,and storesincomingpharmacy supplies
  • Receivesandprocesseswholesalermedicationorders
  • Verifiesmedication stockandentersdatain computertomaintaininventoryrecords
  • WorkswiththePharmacisttoassetinthepharmacyfunctionsand keepingthepharmacyin compliancewithallfederaland staterequirements
  • Performs various clericaldutiesrelatingtothedepartment
  • Communicateswith strongprofessional verbalandwritten communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ability to cover vacations, PTOs and callouts at Crestview, Panama City and Fort Walton sites

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Florida
  • Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience

The salary range for this role is $16.00to $28.85per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
