Join Endeavor Health as a Per Diem RN SANE Adult at Edward Hospital. You will provide compassionate care and forensic examinations to patients of sexual assault, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to sexual assault patients
Conduct physical assessment and forensic exams
Obtain evidence via Illinois State Police Evidence Collection Kit
Document assessment, evidence collection, and intervention
Provide patient education regarding exam and follow-up care
Coordinate with law enforcement and advocacy groups
Participate in the education of SANE nurses and law enforcement
Required Qualifications
Completed IAFN accredited SANE A course for adults
Current State of Illinois RN Licensure
Preferred Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing
Previous experience in Emergency Medicine or women’s health
A minimum of one year of previous experience as a SANE RN
Registered Nurse in good standing with State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation
