Position Summary
- Seeking professional, energetic, and caring registered nurses for summer camp infirmary team.
- Location: Camp Ramah in Wisconsin, Conover, WI (very remote, ~6 hours from Chicago, surrounded by small towns).
- Dates: Between June 9th and August 8th (each week runs Sunday to Sunday).
- Potential extension beyond August 8th.
- Housing and meals included.
- Nurse will be on call 2–3 overnights per week.
- Prefer nurses with experience in:
- Pediatrics (working with kids)
- Type 1 diabetes

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Work shifts between 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM and take 2–3 overnight on-call shifts weekly.
- Provide first aid to campers and staff according to standard care principles.
- Assess, triage, and refer patients to physicians as needed per camp protocols.
- Provide emergency first response and coordinate further care (e.g., physician, ambulance, Camp Director).
- Administer medications:
- Prescribed medications as ordered by a physician.
- Over-the-counter (OTC) medications per PRN basis and standing orders.
- Monitor and document inpatient care and progress in the infirmary.
- Administer treatments within the nurse’s scope of practice, assessments, or physician’s orders.
