As the Manager of the Food Safety Program, you'll provide leadership in food safety strategies across multiple Sysco Operating Sites, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing food safety culture. Your role will involve training, overseeing audits, and collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate food safety risks and improve performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Implement food safety strategies, policies, and procedures
Oversee product recall execution and regulatory inspections
Conduct food safety training and maintain compliance documentation
Collaborate with various stakeholders to improve food safety KPIs
Lead participation in Global Food Safety Initiative audits
Required Qualifications
High School or GED Equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in Distribution Center Food Service Operations or related discipline
Knowledge of product traceability
HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices certifications
Understanding of Food Safety regulations and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or bachelor's degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Biological Science or related field
HACCP, ServSafe, FDA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual certification
