Job Description
Join Windham Hospital as a Nurse Supervisor (RN) and lead nursing teams to ensure quality patient care while fostering a supportive environment. This role is vital in enhancing patient outcomes and supporting healthcare excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Supervises and monitors the Nursing department on assigned shift
Ensures appropriate delivery of direct and indirect patient care
Fosters continuous quality improvement to enhance patient care outcomes
Provides leadership for multiple hospital departments in absence of unit manager or director
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Active Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut
Three years of acute care charge or supervisory experience
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing
Critical care or emergency department nursing experience
Progressive leadership experience
