Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Clyde, NC 28721 (Western North Carolina nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract
• Start Dates: 11/24/2025, 12/8/2025, 12/22/2025
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680–$1800/week
• Healthcare Setting: 39-bed Med/Surg Telemetry Unit
• Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
• Electronic Health Record: Paragon EHR
• Orientation: Bi-weekly onboarding for travel nurses

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state (NC travel nurse jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to float to weekends as needed
• Must reside 60+ miles from facility to qualify as a travel RN
• Professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Compliance with facility dress code (RN navy blue scrubs)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry readings and patient status changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the Paragon electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Promote a safe, healing environment for all patients
