Key Responsibilities
Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws
Facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel
Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances
Determining admissibility of individuals for entry
Preventing illegal entries and smuggling of contraband
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship
Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years
Must be referred before your 40th birthday (some exceptions apply)
Minimum of one year of specialized experience or relevant education
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or higher
Experience in law enforcement methods
Spanish language skills (for certain locations)
