Job Description

Join Kaiser as a Psychologist on the Adult Team, providing critical mental health services to members. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for diverse psychiatric conditions, ensuring comprehensive care and support for individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates clinical treatment programs.
  • Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Conducts psychological assessments and prepares treatment plans.
  • Collaborates with physicians for psychotropic medication evaluations.
  • Provides consultation to other care providers and health educators.
  • Supervises psychology interns and other mental health trainees.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
  • Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis.
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
  • Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods.
  • Knowledge of bio-psycho-social functions contributing to mental health.
  • Competence in individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous clinical responsibility in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Experience in psychological evaluations of diverse age groups.
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner.
