Job Description

Join Johns Hopkins Medicine as a Customer Service Manager in Revenue Cycle, where you'll lead a team to enhance patient financial services and ensure an exceptional service experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, direct, and monitor all operational aspects of daily operations within Patient Financial Services.
  • Ensure patients have a memorable service experience.
  • Select and train team members to quickly identify and resolve patient issues.
  • Establish relationships with employees from registrars to C-level executives.
  • Familiarize with each institution’s computer environment and payer contracts.
  • Work within a call distribution system for monitoring staff performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Administration, Finance, or related field or 15 years of direct management experience in hospital receivables within an academic health system.
  • A minimum of seven years of progressive financial experience in hospital receivables management and Patient Accounting System(s) within a medical center or health system.
  • A minimum of four years of direct management experience.
  • Experienced in the customer service department of a business office within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced in using team building and quality management concepts.
