Key Responsibilities
Assess fine motor, visual motor, visual-perceptual, sensory motor and self-care skill levels
Work and communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents
Apply goal-directed activities to enhance student potential
Write Individual Education Programs (IEP)
Write measurable annual goals and objectives
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited OT program
Registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
State License as an Occupational Therapist
Educational/Teacher Certification if required by state department of education
Experience as a School Based OT
Preferred Qualifications
Training/experience in pediatrics
Neurodevelopmental therapy
Sensory integration
CPR/First Aid
