Job Description
Join Carrier Global as an HVAC Chiller Technician and play a vital role in delivering efficient cooling solutions. Leverage your extensive HVAC experience to ensure customer comfort and contribute to innovative projects in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in startup and commissioning of new units
Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions
Execute regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units
Review and interpret regulatory requirements and technical documents
Cultivate strong customer relationships and ensure timely escalation of issues
Prioritize safety by adhering to licensing requirements and implementing safety measures
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
10+ years working experience in the HVAC Industry
5+ years working with centrifugal chillers with ST6 & ST3
HV, BFD, Starters
EPA Universal certification
Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50lbs, climb a ladder and work on rooftops
Ability to stand, crawl, sit, squat for extended periods
Valid and current Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 30 Certification
Basic understanding of building automation controls (BOMAC)
Experience with data centers
Experience with Steam Turbines
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Knowledge of ServiceMax
