Local Contract Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice - $85 per hour

Immediate Nurse Practitioner (NP) contract opportunity for Per Diem coverage at our Corporate Health Center in Groton, CT.

Pay Rate: $85.00/hr

Shifts Needed:

• 8:00am - 4:00pm (Monday OR Friday)
• 8:00am - 1:00pm (Saturday) - 2 Saturdays per month

Contract Details:

• Contract assignment through April, 25 2026

Job Details:

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
• Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
• Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
• Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains medical records

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program
• AANP or NCCPA Certification
• Prior clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care setting and occupational health
