Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient safety throughout procedures
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety standards
Accurately analyze, document, and transmit imaging results
Educate and support patients to ensure comfort and understanding
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes
Requirements of the Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification (required)
BLS certification (required)
2+ years of nuclear medicine experience
Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling, imaging protocols, and safety standards
