Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Administer and interpret tests for hearing impairment
Evaluate test results and medical records for causes of hearing loss
Conduct otoscopic examinations and manage cerumen
Lead training for paraprofessional staff
Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
Travel up to 50% for audiology examinations at various locations

Required Qualifications

Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au. D) from an accredited college or university
5+ years of clinic practice experience
Currently licensed Audiologist in state employed with unrestricted license
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification
Ability to pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
Medical clearance including passing an N95 respirator fit test and TB test

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Compensation and Pension Examination
Experience with hearing conservation programs
