RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on scientific nursing principles
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans
• Prepare and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, and through IV, recording all prescribed medications
• Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments according to policy
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-treatment home care needs
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret and record electronic displays
• Provide bedside care for medical patients including pre- and post-surgery patients
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
• Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol
• May be responsible for taking care of pediatric/adolescent patients occasionally
• May need to float between Lander and Riverton campuses depending on facility census
• Must have ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through American Heart Association
• Must have Wyoming RN or multi-state RN license
• Must have 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital setting
• Utilize time management skills and record all care information accurately and timely
