Key Responsibilities
Detecting, preventing, and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers
Responding to electronic sensor alarms and patrolling borders
Interpreting physical evidence and using surveillance technology
Conducting farm, ranch, traffic, and city patrol checks
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship
Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years
Ability to take charge and maintain composure in stressful situations
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Current or prior law enforcement experience
Experience or education in criminal justice or related fields
