Key Responsibilities
Oversee behavioral care and pathway planning for ARC and CARE animals
Ensure high-quality individualized care considering medical and behavioral needs
Lead and mentor behavior staff
Collaborate with various teams to align best practices
Manage research projects related to animal behavior
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in people management
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with all levels of staff
Fear Free certification within 6 months of hire
Ability to work with behaviorally and medically compromised animals
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in developing/overseeing research projects
Experience writing scientific publications for peer-reviewed journals
