Job Description
Join Albany Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse III in the Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit. Contribute to a compassionate environment while providing essential patient care and collaborating with a dedicated nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, and documents treatment as required.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
Assesses and evaluates patient needs for care rendered.
Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for patients.
Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintains professional nursing standards.
