Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist walk-in members with inquiries related to benefits and care coordination
  • Triage member concerns and escalate to appropriate departments
  • Assist members with completing forms and understanding plan materials
  • Coordinate with service coordinators and care managers to support member needs
  • Maintain front desk operations including answering phones and managing visitor activity
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail securely
  • Coordinate courier services and deliveries
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and member-facing materials
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for building management and vendors
  • Report and track facility issues
  • Support space planning and office moves
  • Coordinate meeting room reservations and technology setup
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA and company privacy standards
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of member visits
  • Participate in audits and compliance training
  • Support special projects and administrative tasks

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 2+ years of professional experience in an office/customer service setting
  • Experience with Microsoft Word
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Must reside in Hilo, HI
  • Ability to work ON-SITE full-time, Monday - Friday

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the healthcare industry with medical terminology
