Job Description
Join Kaiser as a CT Technologist where you'll operate advanced CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images. This part-time role emphasizes teamwork and patient communication, ensuring a service-oriented environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic procedures and examinations
Communicate necessary information to healthcare team members
Provide service-oriented communication with patients
Apply ALARA principles for minimizing radiation exposure
File work, reception, and computer tasks including PACs functions
Administer contrast media as directed
Assist with patient screening and transport
Quality assurance functions and troubleshoot equipment
Maintain cleanliness and order of assigned room
Required Qualifications
Minimum one year experience as a CT technologist within the past 2 years or minimum six months experience in an acute hospital setting within the last year
High School Diploma or GED
Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) or Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography required at hire
Radiologic Technologist Certification required at hire
Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Prior CT work experience using helical and/or multi-detector technology
Attendance at CT and cross-sectional anatomy courses
Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Science or related field
