Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician, providing crucial crisis interventions to children and young adults in Staten Island. Work with a dedicated team to deliver culturally competent care and make a significant impact on mental health in the community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide immediate on-site risk assessment and crisis de-escalation
Monitor CMCT email and respond to crisis referrals
Develop and implement safety plans and short-term service plans
Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing in English
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual clinicians preferred if relevant to the population serviced
