Job Description

Join The Jewish Board as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician, providing crucial crisis interventions to children and young adults in Staten Island. Work with a dedicated team to deliver culturally competent care and make a significant impact on mental health in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate on-site risk assessment and crisis de-escalation
  • Monitor CMCT email and respond to crisis referrals
  • Develop and implement safety plans and short-term service plans
  • Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
  • Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Mental Health clinician
  • Valid NYS Driver's License
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
  • Proficient reading and writing in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual clinicians preferred if relevant to the population serviced
