ER RN Travel Job Details

• Location: Winnsboro, South Carolina 29180 (near Columbia, SC)
• Healthcare Setting: Free Standing Emergency Department
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: October 27, 2025
• End Date: January 26, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float to sister facilities within scope as needed
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Parking: Free onsite parking
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1530–$1640

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

• Active South Carolina or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Preferred: Experience in Trauma Level I & II centers
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER environment
• Perform triage, assessment, and treatment of trauma, medical, and pediatric emergencies
• Administer medications, IVs, and perform procedural sedation as needed
• Manage central lines, IV vasopressors, and provide continuous IV sedation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Participate in team nursing and foster a positive, collaborative work environment
• Float to similar units or sister healthcare facilities as required
• Be prepared to participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
