Job Description
Join Bethesda Health as a Nurse Educator, where you will develop and implement orientation programs for employees while promoting a culture of staff development. You'll play a crucial role in infection prevention and control, ensuring a safe environment for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement orientation programs for employees
Conduct General Orientation incorporating regulatory guidelines
Coordinate and monitor orientation activities
Develop lesson plans and conduct in-service programs
Implement infection prevention and control programs
Collaborate with departments on occupational health and safety
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Current RN license
CPR/AED certification
Minimum of five years of recent clinical nursing experience
Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule
Preferred Qualifications
BSN or related baccalaureate preparation in education
Educational and supervisory/management experience
Previous experience in long-term care
Certified as a CPR instructor
Certified as an Instructor for the Missouri Nurse Assistant Training program and CMT instructor certification
Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control
