CVOR RN - 12H Rotating Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CVOR RN to join our team on a 12-hour rotating shift. This position requires flexibility, as nurses may float to different locations, including the Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the CVOR setting.
  • Circulate and scrub for various procedures, including ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro.
  • Work weekends and on-call as required by the department.
  • Participate in a holiday rotation schedule, working two of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.
  • Ensure compliance with patient care protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
  • Prior travel experience in a large teaching hospital setting is essential.
  • Circulate experience is required; scrub experience is preferred.
  • Epic experience within the last two years is mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid knowledge base in diverse surgical specialties.
  • Must have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, with consideration given to candidates with slightly less experience from similar-sized teaching facilities.

Additional Information

  • Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation is a must.
  • All work histories must be documented in detail, including bed count, EMR, and facility type.
  • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires between November and April.
