Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work day shifts of 7-10 hours on weekdays with weekend rotation
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week assignment
• Call requirements included
• 2+ years of hospital experience required
• Must have scrub assist skills during cardiac and EP diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Ability to operate cardiac stimulator (Bloom) and use MacLab recorder required
• Must be able to use MacLab system to record, measure and document during various cardiac procedures
• EP experience strongly recommended with EP scrub experience preferred
• Experience with cath and vascular procedures (diagnostic and interventions) preferred
• Must maintain active Texas RN License (temporary license not acceptable)
• RCIS or RCES certification required
• BLS certification required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Required to float as needed per Methodist Floating Policy
• Work with equipment including MacLab, Volcano IVUS, MacLab hemo monitoring, Philips FD 20 and FD 10
• Documentation systems: Meditech and MacLab
• Facility provides scrubs for Cath Lab RN/CST
• Must maintain clean and healthy nails, neat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colors
• Body art should be covered whenever possible, visible piercings other than ears prohibited
• Perform cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, and EP scrub assist in cardiac and EP procedures including device implantations
• Provide care for adult patients
