The Flying Leader – Junior is primarily responsible for triaging issues discovered on product development, Fast Feedback, dealership and customer vehicles. The flying leader will share, promote, and report critical points to the Vehicle Operability Manager and/or Software Configuration Leader. They will collect and interpret data and direct it to the appropriate teams for resolution. They will be instrumental in enhancing vehicle usability and deploying new features during validation, while also contributing to and participating in the missions and training of flying
analysts. Their responsibility covers a vehicle project or module. Along with the entire Operability and Commissioning Team, they will strive to improve vehicle-level operability by promptly identifying and resolving issues and updating vehicles with the latest compatible software
configurations.
Responsibilities include:
• Discover, root cause, collect data, document/assign issues.
• Test and approve SW baseline.
• Support issue meetings.
• Support build of EE Plywood Buck.
• Support Commissioning – define SW baseline.
• Support project status reports.
• Define exception list.
• Support training of team members.
• Support software update activities.
• Support Readiness Reviews: Maturity, Issues, Compatibility, Workarounds.
• Propose Efficiencies.
