Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Manufacturing Engineer II, where you'll develop and enhance manufacturing processes while collaborating with diverse teams. Your expertise will ensure efficient production and drive continuous improvement, making a pivotal impact in defense solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions and labor standards
Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting
Drive Continuous Improvement through process enhancements
Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators
Lead corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail
Knowledge of CORE principles and techniques
Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools, especially CREO/ProE
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude
Innovative mindset for continuous improvement
Strong organization skills to manage multiple tasks
Proven written and oral communication skills
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
Experience with automated tooling, machinery and programming
Experience with refurbishment and repair requirements
