Job Description
Join Optum as an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to improve health outcomes and provide excellent customer service. You'll work with a dedicated team to support patient care, manage records, and ensure smooth operations in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
Answer phones and schedule appointments
Complete check-in and check-out tasks including insurance verification
Process walk-in patients and visitors
Manage medical records
Maintain correspondence logs and process requests for medical records release
Set up and clean coffee and water station for patients
Travel locally up to 10% of the time for meetings or to cover other clinic locations
Required Qualifications
1+ years of customer service experience
1+ years of experience working in a healthcare or medical office setting
Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
EMR or EPIC experience
Working knowledge of general office procedures
Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
