Job Description
As a Team Manager at Whole Foods Market, you will lead the maintenance team in a metro food production facility, ensuring safety compliance and efficient operations. Your role is pivotal in managing equipment maintenance, fostering teamwork, and contributing to meaningful community change.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the maintenance team
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement repair strategies
Develop preventive maintenance schedules
Manage maintenance budgets and inventory of supplies
Create a positive work environment and foster teamwork
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing
12+ months of supervisory experience in food manufacturing
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, hydraulic systems
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications (CMRP, CPMM)
OSHA safety certification
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office
