Shift Details

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Guarantee: 36 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• No on-call requirement

Job Summary

The Emergency Room RN serves as a crucial member of the interdisciplinary team, providing professional nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation within a Level II Trauma Center. Candidates must be comfortable working rapidly in emergency situations and may float between campuses (Rock Island, Muscatine, Moline).

• COVID vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions available)
• Trinity Rock Island will not consider candidates living within 60 miles of the facility

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Active Iowa RN or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Active Illinois State Agency License – Not Nursys report
• MAB/MOAB may be obtained during onboarding
• Required certifications:

  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC
