Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Oncology RN for a 13-week assignment in Nashville, TN. You'll provide specialized care to cancer patients and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team, making a positive impact on patients' lives.
Key Responsibilities
Educate patients and families about oncology procedures and treatments
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Prepare and maintain oncology-specific equipment
Monitor and address oncology patients' comfort and safety
Assess and document patients' conditions and reactions
Respond to life-saving situations based on oncology nursing standards
Develop and implement individualized education plans for patients
Participate in oncology quality improvement initiatives
Advocate for oncology patients
Adhere to hospital safety protocols
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as an Oncology RN
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
Other certifications and licenses may be required
