Interventional Radiology Technologist – Traveler – Days
Shift: 07:00–15:30, Monday–Friday (5 × 8-hour shifts)
Contract: 13 weeks (3 months)
On-Call: Required as scheduled
Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist will assist physicians in performing angiography and related interventional procedures. This role requires proficiency in supporting a wide range of IR cases, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in performing angiography examinations and interventional radiology procedures, including:
Line placements
Angiograms
Kyphoplasty
Percutaneous nephrostomy
Other vascular and non-vascular interventions
Operate and maintain GE Innova imaging equipment
Prepare procedure rooms and ensure necessary supplies are available
Monitor patient vital signs and provide procedural support
Maintain accurate documentation in patient records
Comply with safety standards, infection control guidelines, and radiation protection protocols
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (R) certification (required)
State licensure as required
Current BLS (AHA) certification (required)
Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience (required)
Familiarity with GE Innova equipment (preferred)
Strong technical skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
