Interventional Radiology Technologist – Traveler – Days

Shift: 07:00–15:30, Monday–Friday (5 × 8-hour shifts)
Contract: 13 weeks (3 months)
On-Call: Required as scheduled

Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist will assist physicians in performing angiography and related interventional procedures. This role requires proficiency in supporting a wide range of IR cases, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing angiography examinations and interventional radiology procedures, including:

  • Line placements

  • Angiograms

  • Kyphoplasty

  • Percutaneous nephrostomy

  • Other vascular and non-vascular interventions

• Operate and maintain GE Innova imaging equipment

• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure necessary supplies are available

• Monitor patient vital signs and provide procedural support

• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records

• Comply with safety standards, infection control guidelines, and radiation protection protocols

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (R) certification (required)

• State licensure as required

• Current BLS (AHA) certification (required)

• Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience (required)

• Familiarity with GE Innova equipment (preferred)

• Strong technical skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
