Job Details:
• Work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM
• Support whole hospital, especially ICU and ED patients • Must be MRI registered with current ARRT certification • BLS certification required • Siemens experience required • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible • Advanced certification in MR required within one year of employment • Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements annually • Verify patient identification using professional manners and methods • Obtain patient history and assist patients and family members requiring extra attention • Document pregnancy status on patients of child bearing age • Demonstrate knowledge of MRI and cross-sectional human anatomy • Operate MRI scanners competently and perform automatic injections of MRI contrast • Interpret protocols and select appropriate scanning parameters • Administer oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients according to protocols • Establish intravenous lines and administer IV contrast following safe injection procedures • Maintain thorough understanding of PACS and transmit images to various systems • Verify and segment images at QC station • Complete, modify, and cancel orders in appropriate and timely manner • Maintain clean and orderly work environment • Precept new employees and students • Completion of accredited educational program in Radiological Science requiredFacility:
