Job Details:
• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (overtime billed after 48 hours on 4x12 schedule)
• Night shifts with weekday schedule and every other weekend required • Float position with required floating to Stepdown Unit and may float to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU patients being held • Holiday coverage required within contract period • Patient ratios of 1:2-3• Strong neurological experience required including post-neurosurgical care, EVD management, and stroke care • Must be proficient with ventilators, IV drip titration, telemetry monitoring, conscious sedation, and dysrhythmia/emergency management • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS via American Heart Association, NIHSS • 3 years critical care experience preferred (will consider strong candidates with less experience)• Must be EPIC proficient with no exceptions • Travel experience preferred • Must complete EKG testing with 80% or higher passing score (one attempt only)• 3 hours of billable modules required and completed pre-start • Care for patient populations including neurosurgical and post-stroke, respiratory failure, renal failure, post-surgical, trauma, sepsis and MODS, heart failure and post-cardiac cath • Virginia or compact license required in hand at time of submittal • No license or background hits will be accepted • Must reside more than 50 miles from facilityFacility:
