Job Description

Join Mastercard as a Technical Product Owner and play a pivotal role in enhancing the Software Development Life Cycle for our engineers. Leverage your extensive experience in software development and DevOps to drive product success and improve team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features
  • Ensure successful implementation of core technical products enhancing SDLC flow
  • Work closely with Scrum teams and attend Scrum ceremonies
  • Write clear and concise features and user stories
  • Understand and address the needs of software engineers

Required Qualifications

  • Around 15 years of experience in software engineering and product ownership
  • Strong background in SaaS development
  • Experience in DevOps or DevSecOps practices
  • Proficiency with tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Artifactory
  • Good understanding of containerization concepts
  • Knowledge of deployments to VMs and tools like Chef, Chef Habitat, and Ansible
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong experience with Agile Scrum practices
  • Experience in managing product backlogs and prioritizing tasks
  • Proficiency in writing detailed user stories and defining acceptance criteria
  • Understanding of applications written in Java SpringBoot, Python, Go, .NET/C#, Rust
  • Familiarity with mobile apps DevOps
